Justin Bieber Dominates The Hot 100 With His New Album
This week, Justin Bieber rules the Billboard 200 together with his new album Changes, blasting onto the ranking at No. 1 with more than 230,000 equivalent units shifted, which now stands as the third-largest start of 2020, because of healthy sales and stream counts, the singer also takes up quite little bit of space on the recent 100 with a mixture of proper singles, album cuts from the title and tracks he’s featured thereon are fronted by other acts.
Bieber currently claims eight spots on the all-genre tally, a powerful showing for any artist. Four of these tunes are debuts, and that they bring his career total placements on the list to 80. There are many acts who have scored more smashes, but the pop icon now ranks among the ten most successful solo males within the chart’s history.
New single Intentions, which features Quavo, leads the way among all of Bieber’s current charters. The tune rises into the highest 10 for the primary time this frame, lifting to No. 9. It’s now the pop musician’s eighteenth top 10 and Quavo’s tenth, combining his work on his own and therefore the music he’s released as a member of rap trio Migos.
Four other cuts with Bieber’s name attached appear inside the highest 40, though just one is new. Previous single Yummy stalling at No. 11 misses re-entering the highest 10 while his Dan + Shay collaboration “10,000 Hours” ranks No. 13. Forever, featuring Post Malone and Clever, opens at No. 23 and his Ed Sheeran duet I Don’t Care holds on at No. 39.
Bieber’s count got much higher this frame since several songs featured on Changes debut on the Bubbling Under Hot 100 chart of Billboard, which is a 25-spot extension of the most ranking. Five additional tunes from the set appear thereon list, and had things figured out slightly differently, the Canadian star could have owned 10% of the recent 100.
